VEDEQSA INC was established in 2006 as a subsidiary of VEDEQSA following the registration of a new food preservative in the USA, LAE® (Lauric Arginate), approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) on 1 September 2005: GRAS Notice Nº. GRN000164, and by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture): Directive FSIS 7120.1 as a preservative ingredient on 13 October 2005 and as a processing aid for raw meat in general, including poultry meat, on 10 February 2007.


VEDEQSA INC’s keenness to lead the field is reflected in its use of cutting-edge technology to investigate, develop and obtain new applications for improving food quality and customer service. The research is usually carried out in collaboration with public and university institutions.

Having a pilot plant next to the central laboratories enables VEDEQSA INC to offer its customers advice based on all manner of tests on product efficacy, safety and shelf life, through the application of  MIRENAT®/AMINAT® to conserve the shelf life of foodstuffs and cosmetics, respectively.
